I was planning on going 9 miles this morning, but in addition to the weather being very hot and humid, my legs didn't feel so great for the second straight day. Before my run yesterday, I ran a couple steps, but I could feel I was limping a little, but I felt like I had to get that run in especially since today the weather is so brutal for running. So I did a couple stretching exercises and warmed my legs up a little bit, and fought through the run. The best way I can describe it is that my legs hip flexors in particular just didn't want to get going. I really wanted this to be a bump up week, which it might still be, I might double tomorrow (5 and 8) depending on how I feel, or I may just run 9, take my 60, then bump up next week by taking out the day off.
