Prescribed workout was 8x1000, 1st 4 @ 10k, 2nd 4 @5k, Working with Alan Andy and Jarret, Jarret suggested just running 6 without picking up the pace much, and that was good enough for me. The 5th and 6th were pretty hard. Felt harder than the ladder 2 weeks ago, but these recoveries were much more honest, and I'm just getting deeper into the volume. Adding the intervals and rest together comes out to 5 miles in 29:39/5:56 pace, so that's a good sign.
CD was surprisingly snappy...
