Felt like garbage off the start line, running backwards from the gun. Just kept grinding away, and I guess managed some pretty respectable splits. Every time I looked down at my watch I thought I saw 6:something, but I guess it was going a little better.
I think I'm making progress if I ran about where I should've compared to Thanksgiving (23:57->18:20, then account for the hill), but this time felt like crap the whole time.
Time to start putting in miles and consistency.
