Notes
CMS 5k. Took last week off, I was going to run this a bit easier, but then the gun went off and I felt like competing. Some HS kid took off, I let him go a bit (he ended up running 16:30) and was in 2nd. Made sure when third place got close I put in a surge to reopen the gap, then I pushed hard up the hill to make sure I had room, I ended up getting him by 12s which was a little close for comfort.
I get the feeling next weekend at Todd's I'll say I'm taking it easy, but then the gun'll go off and I'll race. It's just who I am.
