Worcester City Meet, the course was in terrible shape, due to the rain the past 2 days, and today didn't rain, but it was very humid. Since there was one Fitchburg guy we thought could outclass us easily, we decided that we were just going to tempo the first 3 miles, and just get the W. about 2/3rds of a mile into the race, my shoe came untied, and after about a half mile, I decided to stop and tie my shoe, dropping me 20-30 seconds behind the lead group. I never really recovered, I moved back a little bit, and helped Brendan run a nice race, but Kibler was just running with the lead group for ~3-4 miles it looked like, and if I was in that group, I would have made him pay for not putting us away early.
I also got outkicked by some freshman from Fitchburg, which stung, and finished in 10th.
At least we got 2-8th today as a team
