I wasn't mentally into running during my time home, I brought home a pair of racing flats rather than trainers, it was cold in the mornings and during the day we were busy, I wasn't too psyched about training hard for a rushed 3 meet track season before a marathon build, and one thing led to another and I decided to take the end of 2017 off as a mental break after I'd set a yearly mileage PR.

Now for 2018, I want to see if I can do it, run every day, at least 1 mile (though preferably 3 is the minimum). See where that takes me. Going to keep things simple till the beginning of March.

Early in the run, my right hamstring was talking to me, it eventually felt better, did some eccentric extensions after the run to keep up on things.
