28 second pr! First time under 10 for 3200m! (IAAF conversion is 9:56 for a full 2 miles)
I stayed very consistent throughout the race, I think I ran a 3:05, 3:05, 3:03. I beat Brian's seed which is always nice.
I would have liked to beat Lane's 9:09 and he gave me some crap about it on the bus, but I'll get there eventually (probably at Smith in a couple of weeks)
I need to figure out how to beat that Jeremy kid, I finished about .25s behind him after a strong charge in the late laps, but I'm glad we both raced well.
Coach seemed to think that I would have been better served getting out into a better starting place early so I wouldn't have to work so hard to pass people late in the race. I'm not too sure how I feel about that, since all of the races that I've ran really well, I've started controlled and just reeled people in the last 600m or so. Another thing about today's race was that I moved very well through the pack late in the race, and didn't settle when I needed to start pushing.
