Great workout today on the treadmill. 3 mile warm up, 5 mile tempo at 5:11 average (165 bpm heart rate) descending from 5:20 to 5:00, 3 min jog, 4 x 30s hill repeats (11mph at 11% incline) with 90s jog, 3 min jog, and then fast strides. Felt awesome, strength stuff is feeling easier than it did this fall. I am getting in to good shape, confident that I can compete with anyone right now.
