Little late, had to catch up ran pretty hard the first 2 miles, 9:17 and 7:32 are pretty respectable for the first 2 miles of the 11.2 considering you start out climbing straight up. Just caught everybody as they were leaving the porta johns at Deep Wells. Didn't think I was that late or I would have just gone to Deep Wells and waited which I've done before. The group was big and everybody was strong, no stragglers. I felt as good as I ever have on the 16.5 and probably the best I've ever done going up 9 mile. Was nice to slow down once I caught the group. Group kept it stady between 8:20 and 8:30 after mile 10. I did the keyhole loop. It wouldn't have been 16.5 without it. Overall a good run after taking so many days off early in the week. Legs are sore though. They were even sore from track. Left hamstring was tight, might just be a not. Need to stretch more. Blister that came back wasn't problem today in my older Vomero's, think there is something different with my newer ones.
