Notes
Not sure what the actual distance was, but definitely NOT 5k...would have been a decent race for me and probably a PR. Oh well. I did get 2nd OA female and a really nice prize. Volunteer told me my lips were blue at the finish-couldn't feel most of my left foot and right toes, fingers on both hands. Left big toe looked scary in the shower and didn't get back to normal until I was out of the shower. thank goodness this was only 5k-pouring SO hard!
MTA: It appears I was the last person to get misdirected in this race. The guy behind me, who was probably about 20-30 seconds back, knew the course and despite being misdirected, went the correct way. It seems like the rest of the field followed. The next female after me was 4 minutes back. I was at a 6:46 pace though and doubt I would have dropped to a 8 minute pace in the last half mile, so I think I would still have been second
