61 deg with 59 dew point. Temp felt much better this morning with less humidity.

Workout: 3 miles warmup, 4 miles tempo working from just over 5:30 to a little under 5:30, 2 miles cooldown.

Legs felt much better this morning compared to the last couple days. The only concern was that when I started out my run I felt that I didn't have a whole lot of energy. I didn't eat enough last night. I even thought about eating something at 10pm but then it was late and needed to get to bed.

For the workout, I started slightly over 5:30 pace and progressed a couple seconds each mile. Ran 5:31, 5:29, 5:28, and 5:25. While I felt pretty smooth and controlled, the tempo wasn't a walk in the park. I had to remind myself that running 5:30ish to sub 5:30 pace is moving and shouldn't feel like as easy as marathon pace. It felt good to get a feel for race pace. With the remaining days before the race consisting of just easy runs, I think the legs will freshen up and I'll be ready to roll.
