Workout: 3 miles warmup, 6x1 mile starting at just under 5:20 and working down with 1/4 slow jog, 1 mile cooldown.
The weather was okay but I wish it was a bit cooler. The good thing was that the humidity wasn't that high. Started out the first mile repeat at about 80s laps and came through in 5:19. Hitting just under 5:20 felt no problem and controlled. The 2nd repeat was much of the same but a couple seconds faster in 5:17. It was on the third lap that I felt like I started to roll. I ran the remaining four mile repeats in 5:13, 5:10, 5:08 and 5:03. Felt very strong the entire workout. Didn't ever feel like I was struggling to run faster on each successive repeat.
Really stoked with how I felt and how the workout went.
