Didn't really decide to race this until realizing that CKS and Sonya were buddies as they did their warm up together. Damn. Still wasn't sure of the effort I was going to put in, so I started pretty comfortably and picked it up progressively. That bridge is no joke btw. At the top on the way out, I was pretty close to the ralph line. Reminded myself to push on the downslope and finally passed Chuck on the way back up the second time but there was no chance of catching that old bastard for first master. Pushed hard down the backside of 2nd bridge leg and was running with 2nd overall female for a while, but she pulled ahead. Based on my time and the times of other known runners, the bridges took about a minute off. I was only 30 seconds behind Rosie Poling and she has at least one sub 19 from XC season. 2nd place master. Chatted with Sonya and CKC for a bit got my award and split.
