Ran the course today with Dan. Originally we were supposed to do Jaira's Jaunt, but the water was too high so a different run was announced. My GPS was having difficult turning on the receiver and when I did get it turned on, it was time to leave so it never caught a signal. We started near the back and took it easy and gradually picked up speed. We spotted Sam on Forum and decided to try to catch him which helped pick up the pace near the end.
I used Dan's splits today since I have none and we ran the same.
Take out first warm up mile and we ran a 7:11 pace for the 5:2
