Tried to imagine it being miles 4-10 at Boston and applied that level of effort--relaxed and gliding, not pushing. Had a head wind on the milf mile side so maybe overcompensated a bit there because my pace kept dipping down a little faster than I wanted on that side, but the north ave side with a tailwind felt like walking effort, hardly breathing.

Rethinking my marathon shoe ... may pick up another cheap pair of Virratas and wear those over the PC's .... maybe.

Nice day, great scenery.

another one

looking good man. excited for you at Boston.

The Thunder

Marathon in the Virrata? I haven't looked, have you done long runs in a 0 drop shoe? Nothing against that shoe, just curious. Nice run.

mikeymike

A few. I've been wearing the pureconnect for most long runs since I thought that was my marathon shoe. But it looks like I did do a 21 (on the Boston course) and an 18 miler in the current pair of Virratas.

The Thunder

Interesting. I've been leaning toward "more" shoe during my long runs. Been using the Wave Rider lately...which is under 10oz now, but considering using the Hitogami...which would be light for me, but damn it feels good.

BadDawg

The Winter of Mikey. Bubble wrap yourself kid, you're ready to do something special.
