RMHS Track

Notes

Easy 2.5 mile warmup to track with 2 x 20 secs strides,

10 x 300m not pushing with 100m slow jog,

Easy 4 mile jog home via van norden.

Had to climb the fence into and out of the track as it was locked due to some construction going on (almost lost my ring finger when it got caught in the fence. It's all swollen and scraped and I almost couldn't get my ring off). Tried to keep the 300's fairly easy--pretty much succeeded. Right calf knot came back after about the first 3 reps. But the effort was pretty easy and my stride felt better and better toward the end.

Saw Mike Teixeira as I was pulling to a stop at the bottom of the hill--stopped and talked for a few minutes about Boston and New Bedford, both of us with frozen mouths so we could barely understand each other.
