8 mile progression down to what used to be marathon pace before fat week turned into fat month. Then a 2 mile cooldown jog home.
Nice day--humidity is finally washed away and dew point is 57. It felt good to run hard(ish). Almost like ... is this the start of something? The next thing, maybe? You never know until you're in the middle of it. I wish I could plan these things better. Or maybe I don't. I don't know.
Sometimes I wish I could be a normal person, whatever that is. But not really.
