Run section of Mildenhall Aquathlon. Official time including transition 51.27.
Swim time for 600m - 10.56. Overall time 1:02:23.
Strange old race - just 2 adult competitors, 1 man & 1 woman (me!). There was a kids event going on at the same time. Got a small trophy which was nice even though I was the only one :)
Ended up doing longer than the proper run as the direction signs had blown around in the wind. Not many signs either so in a few places I didn't know whether I was going the right way or not. No marshalls as there were so few competitors. I enjoyed the second lap more once I knew where I was going - nice to run along the river & also saw a muntjac.
It was a bit of a tin pot event really - Info said to register at sports centre but the registration was on the sports field; only allowed into transition just before the start of the race. All a bit thrown together really.
