Notes
Was supposed to do Essex 20 today but it was cancelled due to the snow in the last few days. All melted now and it was a lot less cold today. Just wore 1 layer. Was sunny at times but mostly part cloudy. Took an undulating route around Romford & tried a new route from the top of straight road to Chase Cross and looping back to Eastern Ave. Hard work from about 13 miles on. Tried to pick up the pace in the last few miles - did reduce down to 8.10-8.19 per mile but couldn't get any faster than that.
Left heel sore and it was getting quite uncomfortable towards the end. Very glad to have got it over and done with.
