SE Essex XC, Thorndon Country Park
Cold but sunny morning. Conditions were good - hardly any mud. Found it not too bad really. Need to work on really pushing the pace now. Found the uphills pretty challenging. Overall though I was pleased with how it went.
The best part though was that the club won the Division B match - it was a fantastic moment. No-one expected it so the whole club went completely ape when it was announced. Fabulous - haven't experienced anything like it since I've been in D88. Very proud moment.
