Hot day. Thankfully most of the course was in shade of trees but still hot. Tried as hard as I could but didn't really feel it today. The laps felt quite long. Didn't look at my watch as that would've affected me mentally so just did what I could.
A bit disappointed in my time - though I was faster than the last CS 10k I did (but over a different course). Was part of the Defra women's team which won the Championship gold medal! The other 2 in the team were 1st (commonwealth steeplechase athlete) and 3rd - I was miles behind them but I still counted. So I was pleased with that at least.
