Notes
Met up w Paul, Andy and Bos at Nelson's house at 630 for a run. Great to spend time with these guys and enjoy a run together on a beautiful morning. Especially fitting to do this on the day of XC Nats (congrats NCC!). After the run we went over our 5 fitness goals for 2013.
There was a lot of scatological humor during the run. Also, the scatological specimen I deposited after the run in Tim's new bathroom immediately plummeted the home's value to Detroit levels. Sorry Tim.
I tried to map out the run but I couldn't make it a mile before I got confused about where we went. That pretty much sums up the route for me. I know we were at Greene Valley for a lot of it but I really had no clue how we got there or how we got back. After we left the forest preserve I felt like we were going down the same stereotypical winding Naperville neighborhood road over and over again until the PODS in Tim's driveway emerged in the distance and we were engaged in an all out sprint finish to a 7min pace run.
Also of note, Andy took a 10 minute tinkle (I use that word very intentionally; it captures the low psi Andy was producing which he blames on winter. Apparently cold weather makes it hard for Andy to go. Yet this is also somehow linked to the fact that - as Andy will admit - he pees his pants anytime it's cold out).
Looking forward to running with these guys more often during the Winter.
