I think this was a mix of being a tad under the weather and still not being recovered from Tuesday afternoon (or being under the weather causing me to not be recovered from Tuesday). I am in "less is more" mode right now. I am not trying to squeeze in runs to improve my fitness (impossible to do in less than two weeks) but instead trying to do whatever I need to do day by day in order to feel fresh, strong and confident on Nov 7th. That doesn't mean I wont run hard and/or long between now and then, that just means that I'm not going to hurry workouts in before I am recovered. Saturday will still be 15miles or so. Next week will still involve 2 workouts and the 5 mile effort. Even the week before the race will involve at least one controlled workout.
