First run since last Tuesday. IT band has felt fine since (even did an hour long bike ride on Thursday) my last run. Thought I was good to go. The first mile was fine...except I felt super out of shape. Then, almost exactly one mile into it, my knee started hurting and the rest of the run was no different than past weeks. Probably could have stopped and stretched and made it through more of a run. My goal is not to just "get by" right now - that was the goal leading up to R2R. Right now I want to get healthy and enjoy the late spring/summer and on.
