Camping for the weekend in Michigan. Woke up around 5 and had to go to the bathroom. Decided to just get my run started. Wasn't super pumped about the run b/c I didn't really know where to go. It ended up being an awesome run. I basically just ran out of the State Park (took one little detour onto a trail but it was super sandy and I also got mobbed by bugs) and took one road north. Eventually I was running in front of a bunch of houses that overlooked lake Michigan. Thought about turning around at 30min. Glad I didn't. I eventually made it up to South Haven which was gorgeous. I ran out on some pier to a lighthouse and then cut back by a Marina. The whole town was super scenic and the sunrise made it even better. Took the same road back to the campsite. Very happy with this run. Glad I got it in.
