Notes

Went for an easy run with the boys this afternoon. We went north past the train tracks and crossed the bridge to run that path on the east side of the river and then come back on the backwards Belmont route. So my foot felt fine for the first 6 or so miles, and then started feeling sketchy the last couple miles (granted my shoes were about 5 pounds heavier by that part!). I did some extensive strider work when I got back to the Hyslop (probably like 8 of them). I found that on the straightaways my foot feels fine but it's bothersome on the turns (granted the turns are incredibly sharp). So overall I'm pretty happy. We'll give it a try this weekend and see how it goes; I'm not too worried. I finished off with stretching and icing.

Side note: I was able to avoid the puddles for the first 5 or so miles, but once my shoes got soaked...YYEEEAAHHHH!!! Pretty much ran straight through every single puddle I could possibly find :) It was so fun! (I'm sure my poor shoes would disagree).
