Notes

New running buddy apparently needed another day of recovery from whatever workout he did, so I was on my house today. Temp in the low to mid 60s with 100% humidity (again). Ran the semi-hilly route around the area, but I decided to push the gas pedal a little bit today, a little slower than tempo pace, for 4 miles including the hills. Held in the 6:10-6:30 pace range for the whole time, which considering the hills, humidity, and my perceived effort when I wasn't expecting a 'workout', I'm quite pleased with. Legs felt pretty good, and I'm starting to get into a race mindset with just under 2 months to race day. Afterwards did 4 hard striders, stretched, and did my exercises.
