Notes
6 miles steady, then 1 mile fast. Generally felt quite good - didn't have any trouble keeping up an easy, steady pace for the first 6 and although my calves felt sore I didn't have any of the sharper pain that I felt yesterday. Last mile was fast but controlled. Felt like I was running with good form + foot turnover and landing with my feet beneath me on the midfoot.
Good way to end the year! First real 7-miler, first run over an hour, first 100-mile month. Very excited to see how I progress and how the base I've developed during half-marathon training helps for shorter races.
