Notes
Brutal. Hot. Maintained pace until 3.5 mile rest stop, then pace group got away while we drank. Then we caught up at 5-mile turnaround stop, but fell behind again after about half a mile. But Pam left at 5 (did Cherry Blossom 10-miler in DC on Sat), then Lesley dropped out at 6.5 stop, so it was just us and girl in pink shorts. She stopped and walked some, we passed each other, and I'm not certain but I think Aidan and I beat her in the end. Doesn't matter. Heat beat me. Covered in salt--face, knees. Elbows.
Legs felt okay until near end. Back hurt. Right shoulder. Feet. Burped up tacos had for lunch. Oh, and period started yesterday.
Forget splits. Not happymaking.
Wore NB shorts, white MC bra, white Mini hat, purple sleeveless bike jersey (Chinese collar).
