Another run/walk combo, but this time a little further. In the back of my mind I had a goal of running 5.4 miles to hit 1500 miles for the year, but of course making sure the foot felt good was number one priority.

I wore my Newton Gravitas for the first time since the stress fracture and they felt great on the wet and slightly muddy soccer fields.

On a scale of 1 to 10, my foot pain was about a 2.8 -- probably the lowest in the four recovery runs to date. Things are looking good, but will definitely still be taking it easy for quite some time.

For the record, workout was 5 min walk, 1 mile run -- repeat 4 times with an extra 5 min walk at the end.
