Today was supposed to be a long run...I know...I don't really have time today because we are going to visit UCLA and my parents want to get it done earlier. I think I have a cold...runny nose, sore throat with the annoying phlegm when I run...owell. I arrived at the airport last night and now I'm staying at my cousin's house for a little, then driving to Vegas. The weather here is muh nicer than in Chicago. Today was 65 degrees with sun and it's pretty dry, meaning it's not humid :). I ran in a loop. Down shaded wood, right on pathfinder (a main road), right now peaceful hills, and then back to shaded wood. It turned out to be about a mile per loop. I ran three. Since it's California, wherever I went, I found a hill so I decided to tackle it on the beginning of each loop rather than at the end. I went uphill on pathfinder, which was a straightaway, and then down peaceful hills and shaded wood which was downhill but winded down with turns. The pathfinder climb was longer than the led Zeppelin hill and it was a tad steeper than the beginning of the LZ hill( the more gradual part of LZ). There are so many Asians in California, mainly Chinese, but that's old news to me...I came across a kid doing Kung Fu in a park in the neighborhood with his dad watching. I'm pretty sure ive done that same set before but I don't really remember it. I guess the hills will make up for my Led Zeppelin workout...and if I have time tomorrow, I'll definitely go on a longer run.
