CLAWSON IS COOL. Went for both a pre and post-race swing in the park. The race was through subs, and a lot of the people were out on their lawns or porches cheering. Some put out their sprinklers or hoses to cool us off. At the finish, there was a nice lady handing out popsicles. Finally got that cherry popsicle I've been wanting since track season. :) Talked to a 48-year-old man who came in fourth, later found out his time was in the 17-min range. Was impressed. Forgot to say I talked to Gina from Regina and Bridget from Romeo at the 3-mi race. It's cool talking to other runners. First woman overall -- snagged another popsicle, and got a trophy. Fun race w/ amazingly kind spectators.
