Morning workout in flats on the lake loop with Dot, Desi, Katie, Melissa, and Jen. Arrived early for WU stretches and drills. We ran 3x2 miles together, with each first mile at 6:00 and the second mile at "go" pace (aka considerably faster). Stayed with the group for each paced mile, but unraveled a bit on the "go" miles. Felt maxed out at what should be manageable paces for me. Finished with a brief GS set .
Coming back from this marathon is rough stuff. Focusing on early bedtimes and recovery. I've been going to bed around 9:30 the past three days. Also, thankfully, this workout felt better than last week's. It's a hint of progress, if nothing else.
