Morning meet-up on Hagardorn and Grand River with some Playmakers friends -- Jerome, Joel, Emily Short, David, and Beth. The guys picked it up after the first mile, so Em and I did the rest of the run together, with Beth biking alongside us.
Em and I ran just over 5 miles at 7:51/mi pace. Added on a dessert mile afterward, then stretched in the parking lot. Foam rolled beforehand.
Woof. Glutes are wrecked from yesterday. But on a positive note, that means I activated my glutes on the hills! That's practically a first for me, and a sign my work on this weakness is paying off.
