My first time running since doing the 5K in Eugene on the 2nd. Finally getting some energy back.
Part of my training for the Rhody Run 5K where I will do one small hill in the first half, and then end on a two block up hill. I timed the results of running or just walking the hill, both up and down. I was ahead by about 30 sec. by running .Either up or down. I ran up it twice to make sure.
I didn't have a whole lot of energy, but at least got out. I also ran/walked almost the first mile. Need to check out one part of the course. Time here includes hill work and 1st mile part.
Then I went to Miller park and did one mile, but not at my best speed.
Plan to do a similar practice tomorrow.
