I have not ran on Mercer Lake Road for months, because another runner was bitten by a dog. But I was told the dog is now tied up, and decided to go by myself, and not take my dog. My dog would be a problem if the mean dog was around. So I went out the door and down the road a little over a 5K. I'd say I jogged with some sprints of about 80 steps. I want to extend the sprints in order to get my speed up. The weather was warm, the lake was pretty, the air clean, and it was a good run. I made a couple of short stops to pick up trash, and pick up the mail. I was unable to run up the driveway on the way home, though.
