worked some of the hills, intermittent checked HR to stay or get back below 180. First 3-4 miles hills as usual followed by blessing of flat, gentle drop, and rolling 4-5 miles. last mile threw in some 20-40 second surges to keep legs used to working hard after a little fatigue. easy cruise down Maple Ridge then Hard push back up the hill to finish.
