5:30 am is a beautiful time of day. I was feeling a bit challenged prior to today's workout since I have not done speed work for 3 weeks. Also, yesterday's run was a bit tough. Today, fueled properly, I had a great time. My body responded right away which felt great. 1 mile w/u, 8X400 w/400m active recoveries, 1 mile c/d.
