Notes
I ran really easy this morning, just wanted to get some miles in and enjoy a beautiful morning. The headlamp wasn't really necessary. I could see all right when I started and within 15 or 20 minutes it was basically useless. Nice being out there as the sun came up.
My left achilles was tight early in the run - not painful tight, but enough to remark on. I also managed to twist my ankle pretty bad a bit less than 4 miles into the run, which involved some hopping and overcompensation in my right quad for a few minutes but I managed to get into a normal rhythm pretty quickly and the pain went away within a mile or so.
I felt great when I finished running, so worth tacking on the extra distance and not cutting the run short.
