Ran with Patrick; wore my new shoes but somehow still got persuaded to try to run the horse trail which was a terrible idea because it was super muddy; one of my shoes even came completely off my foot at one point because it got stuck way down in the mud so my shoes were trashed after the run; wanted to get off the trails as soon as possible so only did about 5 miles on the trail then did the rest as an out and back on the main drive ending at the stone gates; great weather for a run today...
