Notes

After putting this all together, its pretty clear to me that I went waaaay too long mileage-wise, considering my longest run in the last 3 or so weeks is 5 miles. Easy to rack up the miles on a workout though. The hill I used was on Kenowa, and I started about an eight of the way up the slope, and made it just to the crest. The whole way was a pretty steep uphill. Glad I found a good hill and to top it off its a dirt road. Very pleased with the times that I ran, but I was definitely feeling it at the end. The idea was I would run up to 10 hills, but I had to stop if I was more than 1 second slower than the hill before. Got very close to 10 with 9 hills. Had some lung troubles, and felt a lot of muscle-burn (latic acid buildup) towards the end of my last few hills. Took things extra easy on my cooldown and also walked a half mile after that. Legs are sore already, and I'll have to really monitor things the next few days to make sure I don't end up injured. Might have to cross train for my second workout this week.
