This was a hard run for me because this is the first time I've ran when it's this warm. Every time a new situation presents itself it takes me a while to adapt and learn to keep my HR under control. I walked a lot more than I would have liked today because my HR kept creeping up too high.
I'm feeling a little discouraged today but I'm wondering how much PMS is determing that. Really I should be happy because this is the first run I've done when it's this hot. It was about 15 degrees hotter than my normal runs and I still came in where I thought I would.
Today is the day I retire my Saucony's. After I eat lunch I'm heading out again to buy a new pair of shoes. Which ones I don't know. We'll see. It's exciting.
