What a struggle! Played cricket the day before, bowled 8 overs on the trot and then batted for 40 overs (carried my bat for 80 not out!) - net result: legs absolutely buggered from the start of the run.
Started with Andrew, plan was to run even 4.30s all the way. I kept that pace up until half way (went through 21.1km in about 1hr36min). After that started cramping, felt like with each step I was going to tear a calf muscle. Had to stop every 3 or 4kms to stretch.
Plus it was very windy.
Never doing something that stupid again.
