Great run, but frustrating as the distance was wrong. Spoke to 8 guys all with GPS at the end - everyone had 10.3km or more as the distance. Mine was 10.35km at 37:16. I'm claiming my time over 10.1km, as even the organisers admitted at the finish that they had changed the route by the putt-putt to cater for the construction work (and sent me an email after the race confirming this) - the detour is clearly visible on the GPS map between the km markers 4 and 5. As for the run itself, perfect conditions. Started hard and held on for as long as I could. Relative to previous 10km races, this one was actually easier, despite being faster. Very happy with the time, especially after a couple of disappointing last few runs. Recovered very quickly, so jogged the 1km home no problem about 2min after finishing.
