Captains' log Day 3: I have 3 days left of physical and mental agony before I fade into darkness. The refined dolphin keeps going on and on about the timeshare. Should I accept his tempting offer and give in? Should I fight it even longer and prolong my sorrow? Food is scarce and sanity is almost barren. I am beginning to notice a shift in the weather patterns, and I have concocted a plan to head out in the conditions to make one final attempt to reconnect with civilization. I have decided to go on Tuesday the 9th. I don't know what this venture will amount to, but it's better than isolation and the endless talk of a quaint little timeshare located at the base of the Colorado Rockies in a quiet mountain town.
