8.5 hours sleep, V8, yogurt, grapenuts, banana, brown sugar, coffee breakfast. Honey waffle things at 5 and 11, 2 endurolytes at 8. Beautiful route, 1 mile of route 62 a bit hair raising in sections, but lots of interesting old houses, and the second stretch of unpaved trail through the wildlife refuge - amazing!. However, first four miles were a constant downhill, which meant that the last four miles were all up hill. Just couldn't deal with it. Walk-ran the last half of mile 13 and all of mile 14, walked the rest. Another excuse is that it started to get hot (78 at the end). It's got to get better.
