7.5 hours sleep, V8, banana and yogurt breakfast. Started out stiff, became comfortable after three, but the pain in the upper thigh/groin began again around mile 4. Probably could have done the planned 8, but it would have only made whatever injury this is worse. It's hard to focus on the idea that you're training for a marathon, not a training mileage goal! Gonna take tomorrow and Friday off, hopefully that'll be enough rest for whatever is going on to go away. Also going to be pretty ready to give up during the 21 miler on Saturday if there is any pain. I'm in good shape, and three weeks should be plenty of time to heal so I should still have a strong marathon whatever I do.
