7.5 hours sleep, V8 and banana breakfast. Tried the "stabilicers" out. Did make a positive difference on the ice/snow, but the lumpy frozen patches were still a pain (litterally) because, well, they were lumpy and frozen. The spike patches also didn't center well on the soles, so on dry patches I could feel an over-pronation, particularly on the right foot. Also felt/sounded clunky on the dry pavement stretches. It may be worth trying yaktrax.
