BEAUTIFUL tempo run. Barely tried. Every time I started to slip from pace, I just gently encouraged my body to keep going... and it worked. Always be cool: cool as a cucumber. Splits were: 1:24, 1:26, 1:31, 1:29, 1:30, 1:21. I think the splits might be a little off towards the beginning and middle (because I forgot that we start in the middle of the home stretch instead of on the corner), but the overall time is correct. official time was 8:39, but I actually ran an 8:44. did 110 situps and 75 pushups. really shitty on the pushups, but whatever. i don't even care about those anymore.

Injury list: my right calf was super tender going in, even more so coming out. bruise on my left hip from biking into a pedestrian yesterday. thought i took ibuprofen this morning... evidently not.
