Today was a pretty low effort run. Not as easy as I could go, but close. I did give it some effort. I concentrated mostly on trying to keep my feet from getting out in front of me; attempting to land mid-foot instead of on my heels like usual. This also meant trying to "land" with my feet under my hips, not in front of my hips. This is what I have been trying to do for a little while, based on some research into triathlon biomechanics. OK, not so much research as a little googling. Anyhoo, the run was decent. I felt good, except for the part when I was running straight into the 39º, 30mph wind, right up the hill on Monroe. After that it was a lot easier. The straight section down Westfall from Lac de Ville was fun, because it was down-wind. My HR stayed mostly in check (I was hoping for <150, but close to 150 made me happy) the whole time too, which was nice. A good run

Sleep: ok, just short (bed at 11:00pm, awake at 7:30 but my alarm started going off at something like 5:40)

Mood: good

Physical: legs were a little tight

Clothes: light blue Nike shorts, yellow firecracker shortsleeve, red New Balance Jacket, red hat (perfect)
